Caleb Lau has over 23 years of experience in structural engineering and architectural design. After working in structural design and draughting roles at Holmes Consulting Group and Structex, he founded Zion Architecture in 2013 to pursue his passion for architectural design.
With a strong understanding of both structural and architectural systems, and excellent working relationships with engineers and contractors, Caleb delivers high-quality, practical, and buildable design solutions. He has contributed to more than 100 residential projects, including several award-winning homes recognized by the Master Builders.
Caleb holds a Civil Engineering degree from the University of Canterbury and a National Diploma in Architectural Technology (NDAT) from Ara Institute of Canterbury. In 2012, he became a Licensed Building Practitioner (Design 2 Category) and is a proud member of Architectural Designers New Zealand (ADNZ).
